Animals that hibernate printables

Y loves learning about different animals! Winter is a wonderful time to conduct a study of hibernating animals. Today, I am sharing a fun set of printables about animals that hibernate.

I’m really excited about these as they feature beautiful images, definition cards, posters, and have a lovely Montessori style!

Animals that hibernate printables

Age: 4+

Why: Using 3 part cards is a great for helping children to understand and master information. For this particular work, the children will get an introduction to animals and hibernation.

How to use them

Montessori three part cards are a great way for children to learn material in a fun, hands on way. The idea is for a child that can read to match the label cards to the image cards. Afterwards, the child checks his or her work by also matching the control cards to the labels and images.

This set comes with an additional information card with simple facts about each animal, alongside an image it, and it’s name. You can have your student or child match these cards, as well, or you can read the information to them as part of a lesson.
