Valentine’s Day Colour Gradient Printables

Mr. Toddler has been working very hard to learn his colours lately! We’ve had loads of fun with our penguin printables, but now with Valentine’s Day approaching, I thought it would a great opportunity to practice some more colours!
I made a simple heart gradient printable for Mr. Toddler to practice his colours in a slightly more difficult way!

Inspired by Montessori colour tablets, I used these heart printables with my son in a similar way – I cut out each box, and asked Mr. Toddler to arrange the cards by colour.

We haven’t quite worked on arranging them from lightest to darkest or the other way around yet, but rather on sorting these cards per colour. I started by presenting 2-3 colours at a time, but have increased to all of the colours in the pack at the same time.

Overall, this was a fun and quick Valentine’s inspired way to practice colours with my little man!
