Y has loved puzzles since we started with large, wooden, chunky ones when he was a baby. Now that he is almost 5, he’s a pro at putting together complicated ones. I really struggle though to find nice puzzles for him, as well as all of that storage. Lately, we have been loving these amazing puzzle books. They come in different themes and are such great Montessori Books!

Montessori Books for Kids: Ocean Puzzle Book

The books feature drawn images. On the left side, you can read about the different types of animals featured on the puzzle side. I love that they come with a great description so we can learn about the unique fish in the book.

Puzzles are a great way to practice logic skills and get the brain working! They are a fantastic way to work on important concentration skills, as well.

Y can really work on this book for about an hour! It’s so fun to watch him, but my favourite is working on these together. Puzzles are a wonderful way to engage together and even work on cooperation skills when children do them together.
